The digital revolution has transformed the film and TV industry. I am fortunate that I’ve been living at the helm of it. Since my first baby steps with Final Cut Pro and Hi8 camera format in the late nineties, I’ve made a big stretch. My career as a video professional has been very broad. I’ve worked as a video editor, animator, videographer, photographer and director in various professional and artistic settings. I’ve worked on professional movie/TV sets, created animation inserts for soap operas, and provided my services to various non-profits. I experience directing as an integration of my versatile skills and diverse background.
In the times of Covid19, when travel was restricted, I created a “time machine” in my living room and travelled to some exotic places and situations from the past.
I was commissioned by a local interfaith organization from Southern California to make a video about their noble mission.
In this video, I documented my exciting pilgrimage to the summit of Mt. Fuji, and to an ancient festival at the base of the mountain for the annual closing of the climbing season.
I directed this PSA for a local CA company in one day, with mainly non-actors, to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The video was featured at an annual Breast Cancer film festival in Toronto, Canada.
This video is my personal document filmed on the streets of New York City shortly after the great tragedy of September 11th of 2001. Due to the low resolution of this video, I suggest not to use the full-screen feature.
